Bugmon Power
Bugmon Power is the overall strength number on a Bugmon. Higher Power means its skills deal more damage.
The official wiki lists five inputs:
- Base Power (species)
- Level
- Rank
- Size
- Mutation (Shiny)
Species base power
Every species has its own Base Power. Two Bugmon at the same level and rank can still be far apart if the species are different. If you want a main, start with a high-base species rather than trying to fuse a weak species to the top.
Level
Leveling is the straightforward Power gain. Train the unit you actually plan to keep. Rank Fuse also transfers material levels onto the base as regular EXP, so feeding trained junk still helps.
Rank multipliers
Rank is the large jump. Official multipliers:
| Rank | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| E | 0.80 |
| D | 1.00 |
| C | 1.25 |
| B | 1.50 |
| A | 1.80 |
| S | 2.20 |
Raise rank through Rank Fuse.
Size
Bigger Bugmon hit harder. Official size range is 9 kg to 30 kg.
Size is not as linear as level or rank, but a very large Bugmon can outperform a Shiny of the same species. The beginner guide also notes giant individuals up to 3x normal size, with larger size tied to rarity and power.
Shiny
Shiny is the main mutation called out on the Power page. A Shiny Bugmon is 10% stronger than a normal one at the same species, level, and rank.
See Shiny.
What to prioritize
Official order of importance:
- Strong species (high Base Power)
- High Rank
- High Level
- Big Size
- Shiny (the extra 10%)
A high-rank, large Bugmon is already a keeper. Shiny on top of that is the god-roll.
Titles are a separate multiplier on base power and can lift a lower-rarity favorite. See Bugmon Titles.
