Bugmon FAQ

This FAQ brings together the short answers published on the official Bugmon Notion wiki and the April 20, 2026 development update. Release plans can move, so roadmap dates below are historical targets rather than guarantees.

Where is the boss for my quest?

Click the active quest name in the top-left corner of the screen. The game should display an arrow pointing toward the objective.

If no arrow appears, confirm that the boss quest is selected rather than another quest. Click the quest row again before leaving the server or searching the island manually.

What should I spend Gold on?

Prioritize Rank Fuse before repeated weapon crafting. Rank Fuse gets increasingly expensive at higher ranks, so spending all your Gold on weapon rolls can block a more important power upgrade later.

The official FAQ also noted that more Gold sinks were being considered. That was a future plan, so check current in-game menus before assuming a new spending option is live.

See Rank Fuse costs and the full Gold guide.

Will Early Access progress be reset?

The official FAQ says saved data will carry over to the full release. The Roblox description also says progress will be saved on official launch.

An older FAQ expected Early Access to end around May, and a July Discord announcement later targeted mid-August. Neither target should be treated as a completed release: when checked on September 8, 2026, the Roblox experience still displayed Early Access.

What should I do if Bugmon feels laggy?

Check the Server Location and Ping shown on screen. Ping can vary significantly between servers; if it is high, rejoin so Roblox can place you in a closer server.

The developers released an optimization update on May 8 after reviewing lag and bug reports. The Notion FAQ also said an in-game Server Switcher was being built, but that statement is a development plan, not confirmation that the feature is available in the current build.

What did the development update say about future content?

The April 20 roadmap highlighted four priorities:

  • Dungeons were designed as co-op endgame content with powerful new Bugmon.
  • Performance and network lag were prioritized before adding more replayable content.
  • The base Secret Bugmon rate was not planned to increase; special items or limited events were being considered instead.
  • Duplicate Secrets were expected to gain extra value through ideas such as special evolutions or other uses.

The developers also committed to continuing Bugmon development for at least the following year. That is a statement of intent, not a promise that every proposed feature or date will ship unchanged.
