Bugmon Rank Fuse
Rank Fuse lets you pick one Bugmon as the base and feed other Bugmon into it. Materials convert into Rank EXP. Any levels those materials already had also carry over as regular EXP, so the base unit ranks up and levels at the same time.
The official wiki is the source for the tables on this page.
Rank path
Ranks go E → D → C → B → A → S. S is the cap. An S-rank Bugmon cannot be used as a base.
| Rank | Bugmon Power multiplier |
|---|---|
| E | 0.80 |
| D | 1.00 |
| C | 1.25 |
| B | 1.50 |
| A | 1.80 |
| S | 2.20 |
Rank EXP needed
| Upgrade | Rank EXP |
|---|---|
| E → D | 1,500 |
| D → C | 25,000 |
| C → B | 80,000 |
| B → A | 250,000 |
| A → S | 500,000 |
Costs ramp hard. Most of a run's Gold should be reserved for the later ranks.
Material rules
You can feed any Bugmon that is:
- not the base
- not Protected
- not currently equipped
- not placed in the Basement
You can feed up to 100 materials in one fusion.
Rank EXP from a material scales with its Bugmon Power and rarity. Even at the same Power, rarity changes the payout:
| Rarity | Rank EXP multiplier |
|---|---|
| Common | 0.5x |
| Rare | 0.75x |
| Epic | 1.0x |
| Legendary | 1.75x |
| Mythic | 2.0x |
| BugmonGod | 2.75x |
| Secret | 3.0x |
Higher-level materials are still worth feeding: their levels convert into regular EXP on the base, so the training is not wasted.
Gold cost per material
Gold per material depends on the base Bugmon's current rank, then on the material's rarity. The official Rank Fuse page lists five cost tables in rank order from lowest to highest (E through A).
| Base rank | Common | Rare | Epic | Legendary | Mythic | BugmonGod | Secret |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| E | 50 | 100 | 150 | 225 | 325 | 5,000 | 8,000 |
| D | 5,000 | 15,000 | 30,000 | 40,000 | 55,000 | 85,000 | 135,000 |
| C | 20,000 | 45,000 | 75,000 | 90,000 | 120,000 | 200,000 | 270,000 |
| B | 35,000 | 75,000 | 155,000 | 250,000 | 320,000 | 410,000 | 600,000 |
| A | 50,000 | 135,000 | 250,000 | 400,000 | 550,000 | 600,000 | 800,000 |
B-rank and A-rank fuses eat a lot of Gold. Farm income and pre-prestige Gold spending both matter here.
How to farm Gold for fuse
The official beginner guide points at the Bugmon farm: deploy Bugmon to collect Gold per second, then press the red button to auto-place the highest-income units. The official FAQ answer is also blunt: spend Gold on Rank Fuse first, and do not dump it all on weapon crafts until ranks are moving.
